Rules for Budapest, set for 8 June:
12 teams
Teams from 1 to 12:
Each team plays 3 games, then according to their results the top 7 and one lucky loser can play for the 1st place. The winners will play against each other for TOP4, then for the finals.
Teams ranked 9-12, will play one more game.
The speaker gives each team a notice before their game.
Rules
- Two sets -15 points (if 1-1, point ratio)
- 1 time out per set
- block counts as a touch
- substitution after points
SCHEDULE for Budapest, 8 June:
- 12 teams of 7 people each (4 playing at all times; 3 in reserve; one woman must be playing at all times)
- Trophies will be awarded to Companies/Teams for 1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place. Also, individual Medals will be awarded to all TeamPlayers (5-7) in the Top 3 teams.
- Additional Medals will be Awarded to:
- Top Female Player
- “Best Attitude” Player
- Deadline for submission of Team: By 12 August.
- Tournament participation fee: 1780 euro per Team.
- Only SSCs/BPOs/ITOS,etc can participate in the Tournament.
- All Teams will play 3 games each (about 30-40 minutes each), in a Round-Robbin style.

TEAM REGISTRATION AND DETAILS
In 2022, we have a limited number of places at the tournament – the maximum number is 12 teams. Deadline for Team Registration is 12 August (for Budapest, the registration deadline is 15 May), and is available on a first-come basis. Only companies that operate SSCs/BPO/ITOs/R&D centers in Hungary and Poland are eligible to compete in tournament.
All Teams will play 3 games each (about 30-40 minutes each), in a Round-Robbin style.
- 12:00 13:00 – Players begin to arrive; practice and formal Registration.
- (Our professional Volleyball Tournament organizer will explain the rules, which will be “Round-Robbin” format. Each team will play 3 matches (2 losses means you do not move forward to the finals.)
- 13:15 – Group draw, explanation of rules; Official Opening.
- 13:30 – Start of the tournament games
- 17:30 – Expected end of the tournament
- 17:45 Awards and Trophies Presentations; and presentation of winning Charity.
- 18:00 – 22:30 After-Sports-Party begins; Open Bar and Grill; DJ music; and celebrations.
- 18:30 – 20:00 – VIP Directors Lounge and Video Interviews with 5 Directors (to be promoted via BBJ, ABSL and CEE Business Media)
ATTENDANCE
Non-players and colleagues are most welcome to join us. There is no admission fee and no need to register for those who come during the day for the tournament games. (Exception: In Budapest, the Lupa Beach venue does not allow free entry during the daytime, so all attendees must buy entry ticket (50 euro/person).
To join the evening party each person is obliged to buy and wear an open bar Bracelet. Bracelets will be distributed at the entrance to the venue. Open bar and Grill will be available from 18.00 to 22.30.
